Install the SIM and tracker

Fit the SIM card, power on your device, and check the status lights.

Step 3 of 7Back to setup journey

Do this before you sign in to the app or subscribe to a plan. The tracker needs power and a working SIM so it can connect to the network.

Install the SIM card

  1. Locate the SIM slot on your device (see the quick-start sheet in the box).
  2. Insert the SIM card supplied with your device.
  3. For the OBD GPS Tracker, use the Micro SIM size. Do not force the card — it should slide in easily the correct way up.

Power on and check the lights

  1. Connect the tracker to power (for the OBD GPS Tracker, plug it into the vehicle's OBD port).
  2. Wait about one to two minutes for the device to start up.
  3. Look at the status lights on the device.

You want:

  • Yellow light (GSM) — steady on (mobile network connected).
  • Blue light (GPS) — quick flash (GPS signal received).

If the lights do not look right, see the full Device status lights guide. That page explains every light pattern and what to do.

Mount the tracker

Follow the instructions in the box. In general:

  • Fit the tracker securely (the OBD GPS Tracker plugs directly into the diagnostic port under the dashboard).
  • Make sure cables are not pinched and the device is not loose.
